Meditation “The Center of the Universe”
The purpose of the “Center of the Universe” meditation is to strengthen the practitioner’s body and sense of reality through conscious interaction with the magnetic energy flows of the Earth, the Solar System, and the Universe. The practice is based on the idea of the interconnectedness between humans and the surrounding world: we receive energy from the Earth and the Sun, and we also contribute to maintaining the integrity of the cosmos.
Preparation
Sit or lie down, find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and begin to relax. Bring your attention to your breath: take several deep inhalations and exhalations with gentle breath holds, then breathe at a rhythm that feels comfortable to you.
Relaxing the Body
Shift your attention to the center of your abdomen and continue breathing. Gradually move your attention to the tips of your toes, relaxing the muscles along the way. Slowly move your focus upward — to your chest, arms, and fingertips. Complete this relaxation stage by moving your attention to your head, feeling the tip of your nose, your eyelids, your ears, and the muscles of your neck.
Connecting with Energy Centers
The Center of the Earth
In your mind, travel to the center of the Earth. Feel the magnetic lines that connect you to the planet. Imagine the Earth’s energy filling your body. Spend about 5 minutes on this.
The Center of the Sun
In your mind, travel to the center of the Sun. Feel the energy that sustains the entire Solar System. Sense the Sun’s magnetic force passing through your body. Stay in this state for about 5 minutes.
The Center of the Universe
Imagine a source of power that fills all stars and planets with energy. Feel yourself at the center of the Universe, with all stars and planets revolving around you. Imagine merging with this source — this center of the Universe — and that all magnetic lines, all cosmic flows, pass through you. Stay in this state for 5 minutes.
Working with Energy Flows
Imagine a flow of cool energy descending from above, passing through your entire body, and continuing downward. Feel this descending flow of cool energy entering through the crown of your head, moving through your chest, descending to the center of your abdomen, and exiting downward through your legs. Hold your attention on this flow for 5 minutes.
Imagine a flow of warm, pleasant energy rising from below, passing through your entire body, and continuing upward. Feel this ascending flow of warm energy rising from your legs, moving through your center, and exiting through the crown of your head, continuing upward. Hold your attention on the ascending flow for 5 minutes.
Structure these flows, feeling how their energy fills your center in the abdomen, just below the navel, and spreads throughout your body. Fill yourself and distribute this strength throughout your body for 5 minutes.
Returning to Reality
In your mind, return to your body. Feel its boundaries and your skin.
Focus on your breath, gradually returning to your normal rhythm.
Bring your attention to the center of your abdomen — your personal center of the Universe, around which your reality now revolves.
Recall the ascending and descending flows.
Closing
Take several deep inhalations and exhalations.
Slowly open your eyes, maintaining the connection to the feeling of your inner center.
